The Big Why?

Now, how I did it with very little tools.
First take off the heel and toe shifter assembly by removing the INNER allen bolt holding the shifter
shaft and shifter levers in place.
Slide the assembly out *complete*, saves having to take it all apart.
Next, remove the footBoard by removing *front* hinge bolt where the footboard attaches to the frame
and the lower right nut and bolt that hold the *rear*' bracket to the frame through the jiffy stand.
Its best to replace these nuts and bolts in their original position for safekeeping.
Thats the primary chaincase cover clear to remove.
Next, remove the passenger footboard and give the bike a GOOD cleaning before removing the primary
chaincase cover.
Yes, looks like water/moisture has been getting in somewhere.
It must be because the bike lives in the street plus the UK wet winter weather.
Now, off with the outer primary cover and lets 'get at it'.
