2000 FLHRCI DriveBelt Install
Remove the starter mounting allen bolts.
I had to use heat and an impact driver, our wet wearther strikes again i.e. corrosion.
After bending back the lockwashers and removing the five inner primary case mounting bolts and the
two outer bolts, remove the inner primary cover.
Note: My inner primary cover got stuck on that dowel, top extreme right of the image. Very tight.
I used a rubber mallet and a 2X1 piece of soft wood and tapped the inner primary cover from the cam
side.
Remove the jackshaft coupling ( notice the dowel top right of the pic ).
The ( ah'hem ) 'wear' on the transmission pulley.
I made this extended socket below to remove the transmission pulley nut.
You'll need socket size 1,7/8" and around 6 or 6,1/2" long.
My homemade one is a 'bit' long as I made it 'blind' before removing the inner primary while I waited
on parts arriving.

My wife's not too happy, her chopping board got a 'visit' from a holesaw LOLOL!!!
